MoCA is beyond elegant & refined! Walk through the doors & you think you are in a posh city spot. Service was on point & the place is just gorgeous. The food & wine were like nothing I've had before. Every single bite was a dream. Came w my bestie on a Saturday nite & were happily seated at a booth right in front of the sushi makers. This is a place to go when you want to impress..yes it will cost you but what's money for if not to be spent on scrumptious places like this. I can't wait to go back!

The service here was amazing -- our server was nice and funny. The indoor seating is very moody and intimate. They were able to accommodate for my shrimp allergies which randomly pop up sometimes. The Malaysian Fried Rice was absolutely amazing flavor-wise, even without the dried shrimp. We also got the Moca Sushi Dinner, which didn't particularly stand out to me in comparison to the fried rice.

I've been coming to MOCA for over 10 years. I first came to MOCA back in 2014 when I was still a kid - the food - the service - the ambience, you name it, excels in great quality. MOCA is one of the best Asian Fusion restaurants I've been to. Almost all the waiters/waitresses know who my mother and I are when we go - you could say we're VIPs. Despite I don't eat sushi, I found many more satisfying dishes on the menu. I remember the first dish I had the first time I came to MOCA, was the curry casserole - included with your choice of meat/seafood. The flavors were perfect. Creamy, savory, delicate and light on the palette. Perfect for any Thai cuisine lover. They closed for a brief period of time I think in 2018 for renovation - and while I'd prefer the old nightclub aesthetics from back in the day, the new style is very elegant, and you could say, classy. Furthermore - when they reopened, they added many more options to the menu. My personal favorite from the new MOCA, was the ribeye steak: I recommend you order it medium rare/well to harness the true flavors of the steak. This was perhaps the juiciest steak I have ever have tasted. That's my choice for an entree. For an appetizer, I recommend the Korean short ribs - as they come sizzling hot on a bed of white onions to compliment the smokiness of the steak itself - the flavors are extremely lively, and while it may appear basic - you will not be disappointed with it. The meat comes juicy, tender, and comes perfectly off the bone. Last, but certainly not least, is the dessert. Everything here is so good, I don't know where to begin... but I suppose I'll go with my two favorites: first, the Oreo tempura... the best way to explain this, is to think of it like those fried Oreos you usually find at your county fair - but - not greasy... at all. If you compare the quality between a county fair fried Oreo, and the Oreo tempura - the difference in quality is extremely noticeable. The second favorite of mine, is the creme brûlée. For those of you who have never had the opportunity to try one - the best way to explain it, is like vanilla cream with a bold French accents in flavor. Out of all the restaurants I've been to on 70th Rd in Forest Hills - MOCA is the ultimate. It's perfect for any occasion at all... or even going out for a drink. I forgot to mention in my essay, that they have Happy Hours on Tuesdays, and I think Thursdays. If you're going to come here for a night out - I highly urge you to reserve your table, because it gets very busy here. That's pretty much everything about the restaurant.

I would consider this place my go-to for lunch and dinner. From the moment you step inside, the ambiance strikes a balance between chic and welcoming, setting the stage for a nice dining experience. The restaurant has an inviting atmosphere, perfect for both casual dinners and special occasions. The attentive and knowledgeable staff add to the charm. The menu showcases a creative fusion of Asian cuisines, featuring dishes that seamlessly blend flavors and textures. The drinks are well-made and delicious. I highly recommend this place! Please see all of my photos (there are so many pictures!).

My friend and I had lunch here. We were seated fairly quickly after being told to wait a moment. The inside is pretty spacious and nicely decorated. We were given menus and water as soon as we sat down. We ordered two appetizers, Thai crab cake and Thai lollipop chicken wings. The Thai crab cake was unique but it was made with krab meat (fake crab). It was wrapped in tofu skin. I liked it though. The lollipop chicken wings were in spicy chili sauce which wasn't really spicy. They were hot and crispy. My friend got the sashimi lunch special (Lunch is everyday until 3PM) and I got the Thai mango shrimp lunch special. Mine came with miso soup (you can also choose a salad instead) and I selected brown instead of white rice. The shrimp was cooked perfectly and I liked the sauce which was a little spicy and sweet.

Brought my mother here for her birthday dinner and she enjoyed and loved her meal! The service/food and drinks were all on point and delicious!

Love it here. This is a great spot for sushi, dumplings or entrees including my favorite: the chicken teriyaki. I always love coming here. The servers are friendly and nice. The ambiance and decor is classy and formal. This is a great place to celebrate a birthday or to just go to dinner. I love everything I've had here- the tea, dumplings, sushi, chicken, rice, vegetables, chocolate ganache, etc. I highly recommend this spot!

Came here during restaurant week with my daughter for my belated bday dinner and really enjoyed it. Ordered from the Prixe Fixe menu and everything was slamming! My fav was the baby beef short ribs, I tried a couple and they are definitely something to rave about! Ended up ordering some of my own to go! As far as service goes, our waitress was informative and attentive. My only issues were with the hostesses, ( 2 high-school teeny boppers) they weren't very friendly or welcoming! They also denied us a booth stating that ALL the booths were reserved, even though we had a reservation (but not for a booth)...in addition, ALL booths remained empty until about 5 mins before we left..they COULD HAVE sat us at a booth! I'll probably dine here again but i'd be sure to "reserve a BOOTH" next time!
